We have been taught in many ways to hide our light under a barrel. I know personally, growing up I did not want anyone else to feel less than. Meaning it pains me for anyone to feel less than beautiful, less than enough or that they didn’t have enough. It seemed almost shameful to talk about the good things that happens in our lives.
Usually there’s very few people in your tribe that will celebrate with you when things go your way, when you get the promotion or God for bid, you’re happy when everyone else around you is downtrodden.
However, I am learning that the reverse should be true in our lives. I am now giving myself permission to be happy when others are sad. Not meaning that I cannot have compassion for them but I still can maintain my joy among chaos.
You probably heard the old saying of the blind leading the blind. If we are fearful of shining our light meaning, letting our joy shine, being happy, being wealthy and being healthy and loving life, then we would in fact have no way to lead others to a better place.
We can show compassion to others, be an encouragement to those who are down on their luck or going through a health issue or financial troubles. But if we are not secure enough in ourselves to allow our own light to shine being happy, healthy, financially secure we would never have what it takes to lead others to do the same thing in their own lives.
I completely believe in the law of attraction and I believe that what we put out we get more of back in our lives. Don’t be afraid to speak of your blessings. Appreciation is the highest frequency we can have. It is on the same frequency as love. The more love and appreciation that we can have for the big things and a little things in our lives the more things will come to us to appreciate and love. This is why I say don’t be afraid to tell your story. Don’t be afraid to tell of all the wonderful blessings in your life. In doing so you will attract and bring more of those things in your life to appreciate and love.
Once upon a time for two years I wrote in a journal 3 to 5 things every day that I loved. Later on I was able to see what value those things had in my life. I remember vividly having my first Lori day. This was a day where I did everything all day long of everything I love to do and from that point in my life I begin creating days , weeks and years and eventually a life that I love.
Your truest friends will be happy for you. The others maybe not so happy. Some will sneer. Some will think you’re too big for your pants. Some may think that you need to work more and not take as many vacations. Don’t listen to them. Somewhere deep in their own souls they have a lack mentality.
We live in an abundant universe where all things are possible. Send them love and let them go. Stay in your happy place. Live a blissful life. You will be more of a blessing than you could ever imagine if you will only give yourself permission. Let go of all of your excuses. Be as happy as you possibly can be, be as wealthy as you want to be. Do whatever it takes to stay physically fit and happy. Take as much downtime as you desire. Live your life your way. You are inspiring others whether you know it or not.
Don’t let the life you want slip by you and one day at the end of it wish that you had lived it differently.
Now is your time. Let’s go have some fun!!
